Chairman’s Message

On behalf of my partner, Gerard Cafesjian, and the employees of CS Media, I extend to you our sincerest gratitude for making Armenia TV the most-watched and most-popular Armenian television station in the world.

Armenia TV is the largest, private and independent television operation in the Republic of Armenia, and we take this position, privilege and responsibility very seriously. We firmly believe in our mission to a free, independent and transparent media entity, and we prove our commitment daily through our fair and balanced news reporting and documentary programming.

Our news and documentary programming content are and have always been independent of any political, personal or business interests or agendas. Our one and only collective agenda is inform, entertain, inspire our audiences, while promoting the interests of Armenians living in the Republic of Armenia, Artsakh and in the vast Armenian Diaspora.

Daily, we strive to keep our audiences well informed and up to date on the developing issues, realities and news stories affecting Armenians, our homeland and the Diaspora. We are committed to raising each and every viewer's interest and awareness in all things Armenian, while keeping viewers tuned in to international events, trends and issues.

Our reporters and producers always pay close attention to sourcing their stories, reporting only facts, presenting all sides and practicing the craft of journalism with great skill and care. We also take the time to analyze current affairs and offer differing perspectives and opinions about the issues we face as a nation and a people.

Above and beyond news programming, it is our goal to continue to introduce, explore, expand and enrich our culture by sharing our history, heritage and traditions with our Armenian and non-Armenian audiences.

We share with our audiences the prolific works of our writers, musicians and all artists, keeping in mind the varying tastes of our older and young viewers. In addition, we always keep in mind the importance of humor and laughter, as well as the significance of preserving our language and using it properly.

We take into account the production value of our programs and emphasize professional visual design and filmmaking techniques. We make sure that every detail of our programming is acceptable to the tastes and expectations of Armenian families worldwide.

We have always been more interested in our viewers' personal opinions than we have been in how high Armenia TV is rated by audience research companies. This is why we ask you not to hesitate to tell us what you think, because we are your station. We want to hear your comments, criticism and ideas, and we assure you that we will read and carefully consider every single comment you send us.
