The Armenian Ex-president Never Left the Political Arena
According to S. Sarkissian, the Armenian ex-president isn\'t returning
to politics, as he had never left the political arena. “To my deep belief, the country\'s former president always remains in the political field and engaged in politics said the prime minister.”
S.Sarkissian noted that he doesn\'t perceive the presidential election as a fight of rivals, but only an occasion to present the country\'s future to the people. The prime minister also noted that if he continues his activity in power, then his main efforts in foreign policy will be focused on the settlement of the Karabakh conflict. Asked about the possible appointment of Armenian President Robert Kocharyan to the post of Armenian prime minister after his term in office expires, S.Sargsyan replied: "I don\'t see that R.Kocharyan wants it, and I am not going to comment on this issue".
