| Vazgen Manukyan on his Meeting with Armenian Ex-president Levon Ter-Petrosyan |
Chairman of National-Democratic Union, first Prime Minister of independent Armenia Vazgen Manukyan said that he views and recalls some issues differently than Levon Ter-Petrosian. Manukyan assures that whatever happened during the 1996 presidential election was a shock that changed the course of life in Armenia. “I am sure I won the election, then” said Manukyan, adding that after the elections hundreds of protesters were arrested and beaten. In 2008 Manukyan says he will contest the presidential election under the “down with this government, any other government is better”, slogan and two other suchlike slogans. |
